We have been reminiscing on Aunt Margaret’s life, the family reunions, and visits we had with the Sigvaldason family all over Canada.

MARGARET ELINORA RASMUSSEN (nee Sigvaldason) passed away on January 1, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. Margaret was the youngest child of Bjorn and Lara Sigvaldason of Arborg, Manitoba. She was born into a loving and close-knit family of 16 children.

Margaret passed away, peacefully at home, on Monday, January 1, 2012 after a short battle with lung cancer.
After completing nurses’ training in Winnipeg, Margaret worked and travelled in the USA, BC,
